Our customer contacted us because he had a large area where the grass had died, it had been covered for to long and failed to recover, the rest of the lawn was patchy and thin
First the ground was sprayed with a moss treatment.
After a week we returned, then we scalped the remaining grass and scarified the whole area and also using our Camon scarifier to level out the high spots.
Next the whole lawn was treated with a wetting agent with particular attention being paid to the dry areas.
A pre-seed fertilizer was spread and a shade tolerant grass seed selected and spread, the ground was covered with garden fleece and watered in.
The seed germinated and the fleece was removed 14 days later, and the grass had its first cut the very next day.
